PlayMetrics AI (“we”, “us”) helps soccer players analyze their game from video. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you and your parent or guardian have.
• Account info you provide: name, email, date of birth, and how you sign in (Apple, Google, or email).
• Profile details you enter: positions, club/league, level, goals, and similar soccer info.
• Videos and images you record or upload of yourself (or your child) playing.
• Performance data the app generates from your videos, such as scores, technique reads, and progress over time.
• Basic device and usage information needed to run the app.
We use it only to provide the app: to analyze your videos, generate technique and decision feedback, run the AI coach, track your progress, and keep your account working. We do not sell your information, and we do not show third-party advertising to children.
To analyze your footage, we send video frames and related details to Anthropic, PBC (the maker of Claude), a third-party AI provider based in the United States. Claude processes them to produce the analysis (the technique reads, the AI coach replies, and the player comparisons) and returns the result to us. Anthropic processes your data only to deliver these features, and under its commercial API terms your inputs and outputs are not used to train its models. We use Google Firebase to handle sign-in and to store your account and profile.
PlayMetrics AI is used by youth players. If a player is under 13, we require a parent or guardian to give verifiable permission before the player creates an account or we analyze any video. A parent or guardian can review the information we hold, withdraw permission, and request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@playmetricsai.com or by deleting the account in the app. We collect only what’s needed to provide the app and do not use children’s data for advertising or third-party analytics.
We share data only with the service providers that make the app work, namely Anthropic (AI analysis) and Google Firebase (sign-in and storage), under terms that require them to protect it. We don’t sell your data. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account), which removes your account, profile, and analysis history. To request deletion of anything else or to ask a question, email privacy@playmetricsai.com.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
You can review or update your profile in the app, control camera/photo/microphone access in iOS Settings, and delete your account at any time. For any privacy request, contact privacy@playmetricsai.com.
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
